Our Founder & Visionary
Marque Anthony Payne is the Founder, President, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of Legacy Advanced Media Publishing, a publishing and educational company dedicated to empowering individuals through writing, publishing, personal development, and life-changing education.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Marque attended the University of Georgia, where he studied Public Speaking with a concentration in Nonverbal Communication. By the age of 27, he had become a senior pastor and Bible scholar, beginning a lifelong pursuit of studying world religions, psychology, sociology, theology, and cultural solutions from around the world. His passion for understanding human behavior and helping others reach their full potential has defined his life's work.

Marque is an ordained minister, published author, master instructor, professional speaker, and Advanced Life Coach. He holds a Master of Science in Applied Psychology and an honorary Doctor of Divinity in recognition of his professional accomplishments and contributions to society.
​
With more than 28 years of experience as a professional speaker and lecturer, Marque has devoted his career to equipping individuals, businesses, churches, schools, and community organizations with practical tools for success. His professional background includes 11 years as a negotiator and mediator, 9 years as a conflict resolution specialist and counselor, 14 years as a money management consultant, 7 years in business development training, and more than 10 years as an Advanced Life Coach.

As a published author, Marque has written seven books, numerous instructional training manuals, and dozens of published articles, several of which have reached viral audiences. Through Legacy Advanced Media Publishing, he helps aspiring authors transform their ideas into professionally published books while providing educational programs that inspire creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal growth.

As a Master Instructor, Marque has designed and taught specialized youth entrepreneurship, youth intervention, leadership development, and citizen education programs. He has served as a Fulton County instructional training vendor and partnered with the Atlanta Police Department to develop educational initiatives that strengthen individuals and communities. His presentations have also been featured by Fulton County government departments, colleges and universities throughout Georgia, public schools, churches, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

Marque has appeared on both radio and television, sharing practical insights on leadership, communication, financial literacy, publishing, and personal development. His teaching philosophy centers on helping people identify and replace self-defeating beliefs with proven principles that lead to lasting success.

His message is rooted not only in education and professional experience but also in personal perseverance. With the support of his wife and business partner, Marcy Payne, Marque overcame cancer, built a successful business, achieved financial stability, and established a strong marriage. Those experiences continue to shape his mission of helping others define success, achieve it, and sustain it in every major area of life.
